Clear float glass, named for its fabrication process, can be found in almost any home or office building. Clear glass is colorless, so it won’t distort the view outside a window or change the look of a framed painting. It can make any space brighter and feel more open and larger. Due to the prism effect glass creates, its edges appear to be green. The thicker the glass, the darker this edge appears—an important feature to remember when considering a piece of glass where the edges are exposed. Clear float glass is perfect for table tops, windows, railings for stairs, and barriers on balconies. When ordering clear glass, consider whether you will need annealed or tempered to ensure you are using the safest solution for your glass. -
This obscuring, angular texture has undeniable retro appeal. To achieve the continuous design, a ribbon of molten glass is run through two engraved steel rollers, impressing their pattern in the red hot glass surface. Pattern 516 Glass offers an attractive appearance, obscurity, and light transmission capabilities. -
Starphire Ultra-Clear™ glass is stunningly clear because it contains less than 1⁄10 of the iron present in typical clear glass, which means more light shines through. Its luxurious aesthetic will inspire you to find new and creative ways to use it. As its thickness increases, Starphire Ultra-Clear™ glass gains a distinctive azure-blue edge, while the transparency of the glass remains ultra-clear, unlike typical clear glass, in which the green hue becomes more pronounced. Starphire® glass stays clear — even at thicknesses of up to 3⁄4 inch. -
Our delta frosted bronze patterned glass is a great way to create privacy for any space, while also adding color that most other patterned and textured glass cannot provide. Featuring a unique raised pattern that resembles crackling, it is great for bathrooms, outdoor features, and any other space where you need privacy and want to add a little character to your room. It is similar to our delta clear glass, but with a white matte textured appearance that adds more privacy; and its subtle bronze tint adds a nice touch of color to any space. -
Sandblasted textured glass shares the same aesthetic qualities of acid etched glass, providing complete privacy while still transmitting light. Where sandblasted glass differs from acid etched is in how it is fabricated. Sandblasted glass is produced by spraying sand at high velocities over the surface of the glass. This gives the glass a translucent surface, which is usually rougher than that obtained by etching. -
Solexia™ tinted glass delivers spectrally selective performance (in thicknesses of 1/4”/6mm or greater) with a light green appearance. When combined with Solarcool coating it creates a bright metallic bronze appearance, modifying the color of the substrate. On the first surface it creates a mirror-like metallic surface.
