Where sandblasted glass differs from acid etched is in how it is fabricated. Sandblasted glass is produced by spraying sand at high velocities over the surface of the glass. This gives the glass a translucent surface, which is usually rougher than that obtained by etching. -

Mayflower patterned glass from Pilkington provides a beautiful and elegant design that also provides privacy. Pilkington Texture (Patterned) Glass offers privacy and style throughout the home. Five levels of privacy are available, graded from 1 (least obscuration) to 5 (greatest obscuration). Mayflower patterned glass is considered a grade 4 privacy level.
