Glue Chip Glass is sandblasted on one side, coated with animal hide glue, and heated. As the drying glue contracts, chips of the sandblasted surface are pulled off creating the unique fern like or “jack frost” pattern. Different patterns are achieved using a variety of processes to give a unique look for each type or style. -
Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. Much like our other clear glasses, it features a flat surface with a uniform thickness that provides an unobstructed views. Laminated glass is also proficient at improving heat insulation, and insulating sound. Laminated glass should be used over tempered and annealed glass when there is the possibility for human impact, or if the glass could fall. It is also ideal for architectural applications in homes and buildings that will be receiving direct sunlight, as it is very efficient at reflecting UV rays. -
Reeded patterned glass is a timeless classic that has a linear glass texture. The elegantly simple, rounded concave shape of each flute slightly bends light to obscure views behind doors. An outstanding complement to most styles of décor. Our frosted reeded patterned glass is produced by sandblasting or acid etching a clear sheet of glass that has already received it’s reeded pattern. This glass is translucent, blurring anything behind it while still transmitting light. -
Our delta frosted patterned glass is perfect for most spaces where you want privacy. Featuring a unique raised pattern that resembles crackling, it is great for bathrooms, outdoor features, and any other space where you need privacy and want to add a little character to your room. It is similar to our delta clear glass, but with a white matte textured appearance that adds more privacy, and adds soft brightness to the room even though it allows less outside light through. -
Solexia™ tinted glass delivers spectrally selective performance (in thicknesses of 1/4”/6mm or greater) with a light green appearance. When combined with Solarcool coating it creates a bright metallic bronze appearance, modifying the color of the substrate. On the first surface it creates a mirror-like metallic surface.
