Products

Shower Enclosures – Shower enclosures combine beauty and function. Their sleek, clean lines offer outstanding visual appeal, while their solid sides do an excellent job of containing the spray from your showerhead. We stock a broad range of options, including framed and frameless enclosures, sliding shower doors, doorless enclosures, and shower/tub enclosures.

Patterned & Textured Glass

Patterned glass is the general term for decorative glass imprinted with a repeating pattern or motif during the manufacturing process. In textured glass, the imprinted pattern adds ribs, pleats, pebbling, or other attractive physical features to the surface. At Economy Glass, we carry 36 patterned and textured options with enough variety to suit all tastes and décor themes.

Annealed Glass – A slow-cooling process makes annealed glass tough, although not as strong as tempered glass. Still, panes of this glass offer several advantages over tempered panes, including lower cost, superior edge durability, and greater flexibility. We can install high-quality annealed glass in any industrial, commercial, or residential building.

Backpainted Glass – Panes of backpainted glass receive a layer of long-lasting, lightproof paint on one side during manufacturing. In addition to adding color, this process creates an attractive illusion of depth. Backpainted glass is commonly used for things such as shower walls, countertops, shelves, doors, tabletops, and kitchen backsplashes. At Economy Glass, we offer almost 40 standard backpainted options, as well as custom colors you can match to even the most specific requirements.

Insulated Glass – An insulated window contains two or three panes of glass separated by airtight spaces filled with dense, harmless gas. A single, hidden seal joins the panes firmly together at their edges. Together, these features allow insulated glass to significantly diminish uncomfortable shifts in room temperature in both hot and cold weather. We offer insulated glass in standard and custom sizes suitable for all household, industrial, and commercial uses.

Laminated Glass – A pane of laminated glass contains at least two sheets of tempered or annealed glass separated by tough synthetic membranes. The end result is an extremely strong product that doesn’t release flying shards of glass when broken. This characteristic makes panes of this glass an excellent choice for reducing the indoor risks associated with high winds, airborne debris, and even earthquakes. Laminated glass is extremely hard to cut for customization. However, we specialize in this process and can easily customize laminated sheets to your desired size and shape.

Mirrors – Mirrors are useful in a wide variety of settings for both functional and aesthetic reasons. Usually, the only real limiting factor on their use is your ability to find them in shapes and sizes that suit your particular needs. At Economy Glass, we remove this limitation. No matter the setting or intended use, we can cut and install mirrored glass to your exacting specifications.

Tempered Glass – A special manufacturing process makes the typical pane of tempered glass about 300% stronger than standard annealed glass. This greatly enhanced strength makes tempered panes and panels useful for a lot of different applications, including the creation of shower enclosures and automobile glass. We offer customized tempered glass in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, thicknesses, tints, and edge profiles.

Tinted Glass

Unlike glass covered with tinted film, true tinted glass features permanent color that penetrates all the way through each sheet. You can use windows made from this type of glass to control room temperatures, reduce light levels and reduce exposure to potentially damaging UV radiation. At Economy Glass, we offer laminated and tempered varieties of tinted glass in a range of colors and opacity levels. Customization to your specifications is no problem.

Edgework – Edgework plays an important role in glassmaking by eliminating the sharp, dangerous edges on new sheets of glass. It also plays an important aesthetic role by allowing you to select decorative profiles for the edges of mirrors, tabletops, and other glass products with exposed edges. We feature standard edging options to fit a wide range of preferences and uses. In addition, we can create customized edgework beyond the capability of most glass companies.

Fabrication – Fabrication techniques are used to alter standard, factory-produced sheets of glass for practical or aesthetic reasons. Common examples of these techniques include cutting, edging, grooving, bending, drilling, countersinking and grinding. Only highly skilled professionals can fabricate glass to your specifications for finished products such as furniture, shelving, mirrors, doors, and shower enclosures. At Economy Glass, we rely on intensive training and decades of experience to meet even the most complex fabrication needs.

Window Repair and Replacement – In addition to offering a vast assortment of customized glass products, we offer comprehensive window repair and replacement services. Our expert technicians can assess the damage done to any window and advise you on the proper course of action. Whenever possible, we carry out a timely and cost-effective repair with appropriate materials. However, replacement may sometimes be the only option for restoring a weather-tight barrier against the elements. We also specialize in customizable window replacement as part of any residential or commercial renovation or remodeling project.
