Shower Enclosures –

Patterned & Textured Glass –
Manufacturers create patterned glass by imprinting decorative glass with a permanent, repeating design. Textured glass is a type of patterned glass that has surface features such as pebbling, pleating or ribbing. Our inventory includes a total of three dozen textured and patterned designs. There’s something to match almost any design scheme.
Annealed Glass – Slow-cooled annealed glass is commonly used in lower traffic areas that don’t require the toughness of tempered glass. Although weaker than tempered panes, annealed panes cost less, have more flexibility and are less likely to experience edge breakage. At Economy Glass, we stock varieties of this glass suitable for all private and public settings.
Backpainted Glass – A backpainted pane of glass has one side coated in lightproof, durable paint. The backpainting process adds both color and depth, making it perfect for everything from kitchen backsplashes and countertops to shelves, shower walls and doors. Our inventory includes more than three dozen varieties of this glass. In addition, we can accommodate your requests for custom colors.
Insulated Glass –
Insulated windows use multiple panes of glass to provide you with improved indoor temperature control. Some models feature two panes of glass, while others feature three. In both of these designs, a hidden common seal holds each pane in place and creates a single unit. Harmless gas pumped between the panes provides extra insulation. We carry standard sizes of residential, commercial and industrial insulated glass, and can also customize to your specifications.
Laminated Glass – Laminated glass is a high-strength product made by sandwiching synthetic membranes between two or more sheets of annealed or tempered glass. These membranes hold each sheet in place if it gets broken and prevent loose shards from flying free. This lack of shard production makes laminated sheets perfect for limiting damage caused by high-speed aerial debris, strong winds and even earthquakes. This type of glass is notoriously difficult to customize. Fortunately, we’re experts in laminated glass customization, and can easily cuts sheets to your specifications.
Mirrors – Mirrors serve an important functional purpose while also adding to your options for design and beautification. Unfortunately, unless you have access to expert customization, you may not be able to find them in a size or shape that fits your specific tastes or needs. Tempered Glass –
A sheet of tempered glass goes through a process that makes it much tougher and harder to break than more widely used annealed glass. This quality makes tempered windows very useful in high-traffic areas where breakage risks are higher. You can also use it for shower enclosures and other indoor applications. At Economy Glass, you can customize almost any aspect of tempered sheets, including their opacity level, thickness, edge curvature, shape, and size.
Tinted Glass – Genuine tinted glass is permanently colored during the manufacturing process. This means that you’ll never have to worry about peeling or other problems associated with clear glass covered in tinted film. Use this type of glass to prevent sun damage, control interior light and keep indoor temperatures comfortable. Choose from our stock of tempered and laminated options, as well as your choice of opacity and color customization.
Edgework – Glass edgework serves two purposes. First, by rounding off sharp corners, it makes newly manufactured sheets safe to handle. Fabrication – The term fabrication covers a wide variety of glass alteration techniques, including drilling, grooving, grinding, cutting, bending, edging and countersinking.
