Patterned & Textured Glass –

Patterned pieces of glass come from the factory with imprinted motifs (i.e., patterns) on their surfaces. Textured pieces of glass come with raised or recessed patterns formed through pleating, ribbing or other manufacturing techniques. Our everyday stock includes dozens of patterned and textured options in a wide range of styles and themes.

Shower Enclosures – With their combination of beauty and practicality, shower enclosures are a favorite in homes throughout America. At Economy Glass, we carry an extensive inventory that includes framed enclosures, enclosures with sliding doors and modern doorless enclosures. Well also carry perennially popular shower/tub combo enclosures.

Annealed Glass – Annealing is a common form of glass cooling. It results in moderately tough panes that, while generally weaker than tempered glass, combine increased flexibility and edge durability with a relatively low cost. We carry only top-quality annealed glass, and can perform expert installations in homes, commercial buildings and industrial buildings.

Tempered Glass – Tempering is special method of glass formation that results in an extremely strong final product. The toughness of tempered panes and panels makes them an excellent choice for high-traffic indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as shower enclosures. Our inventory of this glass is completely customizable to your preferred dimensions, edge profiles and level of tinting.

Insulated Glass –

An insulated pane of glass is essentially a glass sandwich. Two or three panes joined by a hidden seal provide the structure, while pockets of inert gas injected between the panes provide additional cushioning barriers. Together, these features add up to superior indoor temperature control throughout the year. Choose from standard or customized options for your home, business or industrial building.

Laminated Glass – Laminated glass is also made from two or more panes of glass. However, instead of being separated by inert gas, the panes sit on either side of resilient synthetic membranes. This layering method results in a joined structure that won’t produce flying shards when subjected to high-speed impacts or other extreme forces. Because of this design characteristic, you’ll typically see laminated products used on exterior windows, especially in regions prone to severe storms and/or earthquakes. Our professional staff has long years of experience in the difficult field of laminated glass customization, and can match virtually any specification.

Tinted Glass –

True tinted glass comes from the factory with a baked-in layer of color or tint. Common benefits of this added pigment include improved indoor temperature control, reduced indoor levels of UV radiation and reduced indoor exposure to excessive sunlight. Economy Glass carries tinted products made from tempered glass, as well as laminated glass. Specify your desired level of opacity and preferred tint color.

Backpainted Glass – Panes of glass are “backpainted” in the factory by coating one side with a durable, lightproof paint. The process has two goals: creating a sense of depth and adding a pop of color. You’ll find backpainted products used for everything from kitchen and bathroom backsplashes to shower walls and the surfaces of counters and tables. We supplement our line of nearly 40 standard offerings with full slate of customizable color options.

Mirrors – Mirrors have long been standard equipment in American homes and businesses. However, while you can easily find products to fit conventionally sized spaces, you may have considerable difficulty finding mirrors in unusual sizes or shapes. At Economy Glass, we take the hassle out of mirror selection. Our in-house experts can cut and install products to fit any desired specification.

Fabrication – All commercial glass goes through a basic fabrication process to remove the sharp edges formed during manufacturing. However, depending on your needs, you can also select a wide range of additional modification options, including grinding, grooving, edging, bending, countersinking, cutting and drilling. We specialize in the advanced procedures required for accurate glass fabrication, and can fulfill even the most complex requests.

Edgework – Edgework is one of the most common and popular forms of glass fabrication. It involves the creation of a specific profile for the exposed edges of products such as tabletops, shelves and mirrors. The professionals at Economy Glass have decades of experience creating the dozen or so industry-standard edging profiles. We also specialize in custom work that requires advanced training and expertise.
